What the study found
Adding micro and nano ozone bubbles to the nutrient solution improved lettuce growth across the board. Roots were more vigorous and absorbed nutrients better while holding less nitrate. And the ozone rebalanced the root-zone microbial community, knocking back harmful pathogens while leaving the beneficial balance intact. That cleaner root zone lowers the risk of diseases like Pythium and Phytophthora.
